Restructuring Associate

Job Reference: BRA 18/24 Location: Dungannon Closing Date: 31/07/24

The successful candidate will work closely with legal counsel where litigation is being contemplated or instigated, and can therefore expect to experience exposure to a wide range of other professionals and stakeholders

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and referrers through delivery of a high-quality service, effective case progression and regular communication to all stakeholders.
  • Case Management to include data processing, reviewing financial information and producing reports.
  • Liaising with solicitors and creditors where required to progress and manage cases
  • Facilitating regular, effective client/stakeholder meetings, with an ability to always demonstrate empathy & professionalism.
  • Procedural matters such as filing, reporting, document preparation and statutory compliance.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing risks or issues, and subsequently addressing these through an agreed action plan 
  • Actively identify and propose business development opportunities for the team to explore.
  • Engage in day-to-day communication with creditors, charge holders and banks, insolvency practitioners, instructing agents and solicitors.

 

Criteria

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1 year PQ experience, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a similar fast paced environment, dealing with a range of stakeholders, desirable but not essential
  • Experience of management of portfolio of cases, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the use of MS Office
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
