Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collate relevant information to prepare and raise fees, liaising with departments and managers to ensure accurate and complete billing
• Consolidate and issue relevant accounts documentation to clients, using appropriate communication methods, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Electronic filing of relevant submissions, to the correct authorities within appropriate deadlines
• Monitor and meet financial and departmental deadlines, prioritising workload using practice reports and liaising with managers and operational team
• Respond to correspondence, e-mails and phone calls with clients and eternal agencies in a timely and professional manner
• Provide general administrative support, including preparing and formatting reports, letters, and PowerPoint presentations
• Monitor and manage calendar bookings, meetings and appointments for department
• Update relevant practice software ensuring integrity of data
• Support and assist with reception duties and other departmental admin when required
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements
Key Skills & Experience Required:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy administrative role, preferably within an accountancy practice or similar professional services environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience or knowledge of Power Bi, preferable but not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
